Flap bags are a great option for the girl who wants to go with the more formal or fancy look, but needs the room that most of the fancier bags do not give. Flap bags are just that; a bag that is sealed close with a flap that goes across the top opening, usually buckled down with a fancy buckle or a button of some fashion.

Flap bags often have semi-hidden enclosures, where valuable items may go without there even being known that a compartment is there, usually situated underneath the flap.
